18’s to 30’s
At Life Vineyard we want to support people as they enter different stages of life. We want everybody who is 18 -30 to thrive in every aspect of life, especially their relationship with Jesus. We want to create environments for those that are curious about faith and help them to discover their God given design and destiny. There are lots of activities and events throughout the year that we would love you to get involved with. If you would like to find out more about 18’s to 30’s ministry at Life Vineyard then please get in touch with Tom.
Authentic Men’s Ministry
We believe all men are uniquely made by God to bring Him honour and glory. Over the year we host a variety of events and activities. Our vision is to create environments that are designed to inspire men to live Jesus focussed lives that bring life to their families, workplaces and friends. We also want to create social environments for men to build friendships in what can be a busy world and also to begin to ask questions about life and faith. If you would like more information about Authentic, please contact Geoff.
Beloved Women’s Ministry
At Life Vineyard we want to inspire and equip women of all ages to become all that Jesus has made them to be. Our dream for Beloved is that it would bless women from across the region, and beyond. Once a year we gather together as women for the day, to encounter God, hear from Him and to be filled up so we can go out. This year we will be looking at ‘Finding Freedom’ and how that will transform our lives and those around us. As well as these fantastic events there is a women’s Life Group in Whickham, another one in Jesmond and many other activities throughout the year. Beloved and the women’s Life groups are a great place to ask questions about life and faith, they are relaxed and welcoming and we would love to you to pop along. Contact Caroline for more information.
Please Save the Date – Freedom To Fly Day Conference – Saturday 12th October 2019 at Life Vineyard Church Wallsend, see Events section for more information.
We love to demonstrate the love of Jesus through practical acts in local communities. Over the years we have painted, sorted gardens, hosted BBQ’s and family fun days. We love to create environments where people can experience the love and care of Jesus. For more info contact Laura or check out the calendar for future community project opportunities
At Life Vineyard Church we place a high value on pastoral care and helping people find freedom and wholeness. A great place to start is Life Groups or you can check out info on Sozo Prayer Ministry. Sometime people need a little more support to move past a situation in their life. At Life Vineyard we have access to counselling from a Christian perspective. We are passionate about seeing marriages thrive. With the pressures so many of us are under, building a healthy and vibrant marriage can be challenging. The Marriage MOT is an evening event that looks to highlight 5 different areas of married life that have the potential to be barriers to a healthy marriage. The MOT is set-up like a date night and the conversation will be for you as a couple only, it is open to any couple. We also run a Custom Build your Marriage evening. This again is an evening that will focus on a specific aspect of building a vibrant and happy marriage. There are other events and activities that you can engage with across the year. If you would like to find out more please contact Keith and he will be happy to help you

Jesus at the Door
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. (Rev 3:20). Just like the Miracle Question we love to head out across our region and invite people to let Jesus into their lives. We have had the privilege of seeing people respond to the gospel for the first time. If you would like to get involved or find out about future training opportunities please contact David.
Leaders change the world! At Life Vineyard we train and develop leaders that bring hope and life in both the church and across society. We all have the potential to lead and influence the world around us. Every month we have webinars and training opportunities that help you grow in your leadership and influence. Life Kids – Pre-School
We have lots of fun playing with our friends across both of our sites. Every Sunday morning we play with different toys and have the chance to make things. We have fun singing and dancing when the musicians come in and lead us in worship. We love to hear Bible stories explained to us very simply and we enjoy our snack time too. We always listen to God and pray for each other – whether we are happy, sad, sick or healthy. God is awesome and we just know it!
We also have fun events and activities that happen throughout the year, from trips to soft play to great parties.
Life Kids – Primary
We have a fantastic bunch of 6-11 year olds across both of our sites. We all use the multimedia Big Curriculum which is lively, relevant and a lot of fun. We love to listen to what God is saying to each of us and ask him to come and be with us and teach us. When the worship team has finished leading the adults they come and lead us too – we make a lot of noise! We also have the chance each week to bring some of our pocket money to help Frank who lives in Africa. We love to hang out at other times too and invite our friends.
Life on the Streets
Every Friday night a team led by members of Life Vineyard head out into the centre of Newcastle to love and care for some of the most vulnerable people in our community. They take food and drinks but most importantly they take acceptance and the love of Jesus. Our hope is that we will see many people who are trapped in addictions find freedom and life. If you would like to get involved or find our more please contact Martin and Michelle.
We love to hang out together over a cup of hot chocolate and something interesting to talk about! We like to laugh and make a fair bit of noise! We learn about real issues and about following Jesus. It’s really important to know that God loves us and made us unique and special. Throughout our teens this is a message we need to hear loud and clear over and over. We love doing other things together too like trampolining, bouldering, watching films and eating pizza! Every month we join Sunday teams to serve in different ways. We choose to get involved in the things we love, some of us serve the younger children, sing or drum in the band or set up the PA. Serving Sunday is a cool way for us to get to know loads of different people! We have Saturday ‘nights in’ once a month and enjoy friendship and exploring faith.
Marley Hill Community Centre
Back in 2017 we began the process of gaining the asset transfer of Marley Hill Community Centre. This is an amazing building and the home of Life Vineyard Marley Hill. We have the privilege of creating a sustainable and wonderful community building for all sorts of activities and groups to meet in and use. Most weeks we see 400-500 people enjoy the building in a variety of ways. You can find out more via www.marleyhillcenter.co.uk or contact Brad our facilities manager.
Media and PA
We all love the people that make things happen! Those that make music sound great and sort out all the computer and visuals at our gathered environments. These amazing men and women help lead people into God’s presence just as much as the worship team. We love you… and so if you would like to get involved Geoff would be thrilled to hear from you. You don’t have to be an expert just willing to serve.
“If God could do one miracle in your life what would it be?” That’s the question we ask people when we head out into Newcastle to demonstrate the love and power of Jesus. We have seen people healed and come to know Jesus on many occasions and we are expectant that we will see even more in the months and years ahead. If you would like to get involved or find out about future training opportunities please contact David.
Noah’s Ark Toddler Group
Noah’s Ark is a fantastic toddler group based out of Marley Hill Community Centre and is run by members of Life Vineyard Church and friends. The group is fun and friendly. Each week there are games, songs, crafts and amazing cakes. Unfortunately it is so popular that there is a waiting list but we would love to hear from you if you are interested in coming along. You can also pop down to The Lamp Cafe on a Thursday morning, with a great selection of refreshments at affordable prices and soft play for pre-school children.
We are passionate about people being free to live out their God given design and destiny. Our trained prayer ministry team is available when you need support with a particular issue, or simply feel this would help you draw closer to God. We’ll come alongside you and help you engage with God. It’s God himself that changes us, and has the keys to our identity and freedom. We love seeing Him at work 🙂
Every year a team from Life Vineyard runs a prayer space for every pupil at St Lawrence’s Primary School. It has been wonderful to create environments where pupils can learn to pray and also learn just how much Jesus loves them. We usually facilitate this event in the week leading up to Easter. If you would like to find out more please get in touch with Nicola.
Random Acts of Kindness
Over the years we have given away 1000’s of chocolate bars and looked to demonstrate the love of Jesus in as many practical ways as possible. Throughout the year we look to head out to demonstrate random acts of kindness to as many people as possible. For more info contact Laura or check out the calendar for future kindness opportunities.
Many people today would never consider stepping inside a church. Instead they search for spirituality by visiting psychics, mediums or new age healers, often in a genuine search for God. Spirit Café is an invitation to the spiritually hungry to encounter Jesus through the Holy Spirit instead. For further information visit

The Byker Pantry
We have an audacious faith for the residents of Byker Wall. We believe that Jesus wants to transform a community and unleash the extraordinary potential of men, women and children. The Byker Pantry is about supporting people in a very practical way by reducing their grocery bill each week, helping families to eat healthily, supporting adults to budget effectively and of course creating a place for friendship and community. God has provided an amazing space in the very heart of the community and we are seeing amazing things. For more information contact Mike and Ann.

The TLG coaching programme enables trained volunteers to become coaches and work on a one to one basis with children, with the overall aim of improving a child’s behaviour and in turn raising their levels of learning. Life Vineyard has a team of coaches that work with pupils at St Lawrence’s Primary School in Byker Wall. We can’t wait to see the difference this amazing team can make in the lives of many wonderful pupils. For more information contact Colin and Esther and they would be happy to talk to you about opportunities to get involved.
At Life Vineyard Church we want to encourage everyone to pursue a life of worship. Sung and spoken worship form an important part of our Sunday morning services, life groups and other gatherings. We base this around the Vineyard worship values of Intimacy, Accessibility, Integrity, Kingdom Expectation and Passion. We love to spend time in God’s presence and allow space for the spirit to move. If you would like to find out how you can get involved in our worship ministry then please get in touch.
