At Life Vineyard Church we want to do everything we can to help you have a great first visit and hopefully find a church you can call home. Below are frequently asked questions (FAQ’s) and our answers. We hope you find them helpful and please feel free to fill in a contact form if you have further questions or require more information.

The best way to discover what Life Vineyard is like would be to join us at one of our Sunday services, we currently have 3 sites NewcastleMarley Hill and Wallsend. You would find a warm welcome.

Yes, we place a high value on transparency and accountability. David, Nicola and the other pastors are accountable to each other, to the trustees and also the regional leaders Andy and Rosie McNeil (David and Nicola are area leaders for the North East).

While we can’t meet physically at present, we would love to meet you online and there are lots of ways to connect. You can contact us using a Contact form, or email office@lifevineyard.church or message us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram click the links to find out more, and we hope to meet you soon.

We are live on YouTube every Sunday morning:

10.00am Kids Celebration

10.30am Talk followed immediately by live stream worship

11.30am Zoom online chat and prayer time. These are led by site pastors or core team. If you are not yet part of Life Vineyard then just choose any site, we would love you to join with us.

Church is about so much more than just gathering in one place, we come to worship, learn from God’s word and build community. We would love to meet you.

How can I support The Byker Pantry & Life Food Bank during Covid-19?

The Byker Pantry and Life Food Bank are continuing to bring life and hope to the communities in Newcastle at this challenging time, and while we can’t accept donations of items at the moment due to Covid-19, you can still support these life giving projects by donating financially. You can give by standing order if you would like to set up a regular gift, the details you need are:

If you are eligible for Gift Aid, you can increase your gift by a further 25% by completing the Gift Aid form which will enable the tax on your gift to be claimed. The form you need is available here or please email office@lifevineyard.church if you would like a printed copy.

What is the Vineyard?

The Vineyard is a movement of churches that was founded in the USA. There are now over 2500 worldwide and over 130 in the UK alone. John and Debby Wright are National Directors and we have a Leadership Group and Regional and Area leaders who care for and support the local pastors and their churches.

What should I wear?

What should I wear?

There is no dress code, just come along in your regular clothes. Most people wear casual clothes like jeans, T-shirts… even shorts when it is warm. The most important thing is that you feel relaxed and comfortable.

Your kids are very welcome and we have some fantastic groups, where they will have lots of fun that is age appropriate.

Will people talk to me?

Yes! We have a great host team that look out for first time visitors and help them feel at home. The church is a family and so there will always be people who will chat with you and help you feel relaxed. We will give you the space to enjoy the morning if that is what you prefer.
